Izhora pipe mill (IPM, is included into PAO Severstal) will  produce and deliver about 18 thousand tons of pipes of big diameter for a construction of pipelines which will connect the Amur gas treatment plant (GTP) of Gazprom and a trunk gas pipeline “Force of Siberia”.

According to the contract, IPM will issue pipes with a diameter of 1420 mm with thickness of a wall of 32 mm from K60 durability class steel with an external and internal covering.

“Izhora pipe mill and Severstal in general constantly work  that the products of the company are conformed to the highest standards of the market and also meet individual customer requirements. The selection of the entity as the supplier of pipes for construction of facilities of the Amur GTP proves once again that we move in the right direction,” — the marketing and  sales director of IPM Alexander Semyonov comments.

The mill plans to begin production and delivery of pipes in  the second quarter of 2018.

The Amur GTP of Gazprom will become the largest in Russia and one of the biggest entities in the world on conversion of natural gas. Its  design capacity will make 42 billion cubic meters of gas a year. The plant will  be an important link of a technological supply chain of natural gas on the “Force of Siberia” gas pipeline.
