Izhora pipe mill of Severstal delivers about 18 thousand tons of pipes for construction of facilities of the Amur GTP

Izhora pipe mill (IPM, is included into PAO Severstal) will produce and deliver about 18 thousand tons of pipes of big diameter for a construction of pipelines which will connect the Amur gas treatment plant (GTP) of Gazprom and a trunk gas pipeline «Force of Siberia».

Izhora pipe mill confirmed the compliance of the quality management system to the API requirements

Izhora pipe plant successfully pass the recertification audit of a quality management system on compliance to requirements of the international standard API (American Petroleum Institute) Specification Q1 and confirmed an opportunity to issue products according to the API 5L specification.

Sustainalytics, a leading independent global provider of ESG and corporate governance research and ratings to investors, has increased Severstal’s rating from 54 to 70 points (out of a possible 100) in 2018, placing the Company in 8th position out of 42 metallurgical companies from around the world. Sustainalytics also placed «Severstal» in the “Leader” category.

Izhora Pipe Mill has won several tenders to supply PAO Gazprom with over 200 thousand tons of large diameter pipes. The products will be used in the development of gas transmission capacities for the Unified Gas Supply System in the North-West Region (NEGP), as well as the construction of the Kovykta-Chayanda section of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline.

Tenaris S.A. announced today that it will form a joint venture with PAO Severstal to build a welded pipe plant to produce OCTG products in the Surgut area, West Siberia, Russian Federation. Tenaris will have a 49% interest in the joint venture company, with Severstal owning the remaining 51%. The commencement of the project is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions.
